Agenda Papers are published to Modern.Gov. It is therefore important that all Councillors have access to this tool.
Papers can also be viewed on the Tunbridge Wells Borough Council website, but this will only show papers for public meetings and that are in the public domain (working group papers and restricted papers will not be available).
Councillors should download the Modern.Gov APP to the device they intend to use for Council Purposes.
There are two stages to the process – creating a password and registering the APP :
Once the registration process has been completed, you should now be able to access all agenda papers.
A good way to double check you are able to see restricted papers is to look at the top left hand corner of the screen – it should say ‘Tunbridge Wells Private’. If it says ‘Tunbridge Wells Public’ you will not have access to restricted papers.
Access to ‘Tunbridge Wells Private’ requires a password. If you have not been asked to put a password in, you are in the public site.
You can now choose the Committees you want to view papers:
- At the top right hand corner of the screen, there is a settings button. Tap on the button.
- Find ‘Select Committees of Interest’ – press select.
- You will now see a list of all the Committees available. Tick those of interest, and then press ok.
- The first time you do this, the system may take a little while to download all the various agenda papers.
- Once downloaded, select a Committee and the most recent agendas will now appear. To view the papers, just tap on the agenda of interest.
