The Localism Act 2011 (and associated other regulations) requires all Members of local authorities to complete and submit a form detailing their Disclosable Pecuniary Interests (DPI) and Other Interests.
You should have already completed a form to comply with this statutory requirement, as part of the induction tasks when you first got elected to the council.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the information provided makes the nature of your interest clear and that you keep it updated. Failure to complete this form or omitting or providing false information is a criminal offence.
Your form will be part of the Register of Member’s Interests which is a public document. If you have an interest which is sensitive, you should consult the Monitoring Officer.
