Democratic Services Officer
Provides a comprehensive, high quality and efficient support and advice service to Members. To facilitate and co-ordinate the smooth operation of Council meetings, decision making bodies and working groups, including the preparation of agendas, reports and minutes, meeting all statutory requirements and in accordance with the Council’s Constitution.

Supports the Mayor and Deputy Mayor together with providing additional assistance to the Director of Finance, Policy and Development and working within a team of three within the Chief Executive’s office.

To assist the Head of Governance and Democratic Services in supporting the work of the Chief Executive, Directors, Heads of Service, Mayor and Leader of the Council in particular with diary and communications administration, agenda organisation and minute taking of internal meetings, and events administration and support.
