Under the Code of Conduct for Members you are obliged to register details of your financial and business (pecuniary) interests within 28 days of your election to office (i.e. no later than 8 June 2026). Importantly, this also includes any pecuniary interests of your spouse or civil partner.
You should also note that the receipt of a gift or offer of hospitality worth £100 or more in connection with your official duties after your election must be registered by notification to the Monitoring Officer. You must continue to disclose the registered gift or hospitality at any relevant meeting for the three years following the registration.
Any queries on the Notification of Disclosable Pecuniary Interests should be referred to the Monitoring Officer at monitoring.officer@tunbridgewells.gov.uk or 01622 602 124.
In order to submit your Declaration of Pecuniary Interest (DPI) you need to log into the TWBC Extranet.
If there are any changes to your pecuniary interests after your election you will need to complete a new form and lodge it within 28 days of the change.
